REMODELING...AGAIN!

Well, we finally have a new bathroom downstairs. We tore out the old one about 7 months ago, down to the studs and are just now getting a new one. Everything is done except the sink and shower doors. With the bathroom so beautiful, we decided to tear out a wall that made a hallway and open up the living room downstairs. Then we had to move the electrical so we had a light switch for the new short hall. Mark's dad came over and they put in two new receptacles for lights in the middle of the room. Then we tore out the ugly sheet rock on the ceiling, removed the wood burning stove (if you have any ideas of how to get a 500 pound stove out of my basement, let me know) removed the brick behind the stove, removed the carpet and tah dah! We have a gutted basement! How does this happen? All I wanted was a bathroom and I got months of remodeling instead! I know it will be great when we are done, but oh the mess! Spencer has been sleeping on the couch upstairs because their is junk all over his bed from the tear-out. Hopefully it won't take too many months to finish it.
