So on Friday, Marissa, Jen and I did a little shopping. Our original plan was to just go to Costco. While we were at Marissa's, Lynn (her mom in law) told us about this fabric shop in South Jordan called "Material Girls". So off we went there first.
Oh My Heck!
I think we died and went to fabric heaven!!! What a fabulous shop. Great fabric, all the trendy stuff that is so hard to find. Great patterns, cute ones made by real people. I got a pattern for a bubble skirt for Sydney and some fabric that Jen is going to sew up. And a pattern for the cutest baby quilt for the new little ones that are coming. Great service. The ladies were so helpful and friendly. I am sold. I will be going back often. Oh and they have classes, so we want to go for a girls day out. Yes, Amber you must come too!

Then we stopped by a little shop called "Over the Top Cookies" oh my goodness, what goodness! Again, a cute shop locally owned, mom and daughter shop with the best cookies with snickers, milky way, marshmallows, everything you can imagine on top. YUM!

We finally made it to Costco and shopped way to much if you know what I mean!
What a fun time! I can't wait to get sewing...Now: how to get more sewing machines so we can all have one. We are going to be busy girls. :)

I have heard of both of those stores and now I definitely need to visit them! You make a good commercial for them--they should pay you for that post!
That was such a fun day! I am so glad we stopped at all those places, even if my debit card disagrees! It was worth it to be my girls!
That was definitely an "Ouch" day! But well worth it...we NEEDED all of those things, right? Ha,Ha!
